Safety in the era of Covid-19
Starting February 16, 2022, California has lifted the mask rquirement for vaccinated residents in many indoor settings. However, there are some settings where a mask is still required regardless of vaccination status in Alameda County. For more information on the county's mandate, visit the Alameda County Covid-19 information site.

Starting February 16, 2022 VCT will lift the mask mandate for vaccinated participants. Fully vaccinated participants have the option to wear a mask in our classes. Unvaccinated participants must wear a face covering. These steps are in compliance with state and county guidelines.
It is our responsiblity to continue to limit exposure for ourselves, our family and community. You can protect yourselves and your loved ones by:
-
Practicing social distance whenever possible
-
Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
-
Disinfect your home and workspace.
-
Don facial coverings when you go out.
-
Get vaccinated/boosted if you are able to.

Maintaining a Safe Training Environment
Safety is paramount. VCT Services is committed to maintaining a training environment that is safe for everyone to participate. We've implemented the following safety measures to protect our participants as they learn lifesaving skills:

-
Small class sizes - Classes are limited to 8 participants to create distance.
-
No sharing equipment - Participants will have their own equipment to practice skills like CPR and AED.
-
Sealed PPE kits - Participants will have their own gloves and face shields to train.
